Complete guide to using the Team Ritual Scheduler
The Team Ritual Scheduler helps your team run recurring rituals smoothly and fairly:
| Role | Can Do |
|---|---|
| Admin | Everything: manage users, create/configure rituals, generate sessions, override assignments |
| Standard | View schedules, set availability, request swaps, decline sessions, view history |
| Read-only | View schedules and history only |
Random 1:1 sessions pair you with different teammates for informal one-on-one meetings.
One person in each pair is designated as the initiator - they're responsible for scheduling the meeting. The initiator is typically determined alphabetically by name.
On your schedule, you'll see a badge indicating if you're the initiator:
If you can't attend a scheduled 1:1:
Show & Tell sessions feature team members presenting their work, learnings, or interesting topics.
If you're selected to present but can't make it, you can request a swap:
Mark yourself as unavailable when you know you'll be out (vacation, sick leave, etc.). This helps the scheduler avoid assigning you during those periods.
| Vacation | Planned time off, holidays |
| Sick Leave | Illness or medical appointments |
| Other | Conferences, training, personal reasons |
The Swap Requests page shows all your swap activity for Show & Tell sessions.
When someone wants to swap with you:
